The Miss Iowa Scholarship Program's mission is to provide scholarship awards within a competitive system designed to enhance educational and career opportunities for young women. While encouraging young women to serve as positive role models through service and personal development, the Miss Iowa Scholarship Program provides exposure to experiences that enhance confidence, showcase talents, and serve the community.

Would you like to become a Miss Iowa volunteer? It’s fun and rewarding to work in this scholarship program! The entire Miss America Organization is comprised of volunteers who serve as board members, committee members, and Executive Directors of the State and Local competitions. The more individuals who volunteer, the more fun it is in addition to knowing that you have been a part of a program to assist young women with their educational endeavors and personal growth.
Please email executivedirector@missiowa.com and let us know what you are interested in doing and whether you want to work on the state or local level. We have opportunities including: state and local board member, Miss Iowa hostess, field operations team/recruitment and much more! We will respond to let you know where the help is needed and will welcome you as a Miss Iowa Volunteer.

The Miss Iowa Scholarship Program is a non-profit organization solely dependent on grants and contributions from businesses, organizations, individuals, and special event fundraisers, to support the scholarship awards and operation expenses of the Miss Iowa program.
